KAMBASCO Technologies Ltd (BRIDGE) is 100% Ugandan owned renewable energy and technology social enterprise that provides a link to affordable lighting, Training youth, refugees and technicians in electronic bicycle assembly plus PV installations especially solar home systems and solar power for productive use. Since 11/09/2015 we are positioning to be key supplier /distributor and financier of high quality off grid energy and Tech solutions based on SCONSO Grid (Solar Kiosk Business Hub) Franchise. We are networked through SACCOS, VSLAs and Farmers associations currently totaling 3000 and to date we have distributed 1000 Units in 20 Units in Uganda.
In building communities’ resilience, availability of electricity in remote rural areas will improve provision of essential services like health, education, security; livelihood, reduce costs of buying traditional lighting and communication technologies such as kerosene, radio batteries, phone charging fees; create jobs by powering barbershops ,cooling business ,Solar products vending and Business incubation training and training on electronic bicycle assembly and repair hence contributing to poverty reduction and general transformation of life. What We Do
We work to reduce first mile portage expense in food production by training local people to assemble, repair and use of solar electronic African bicycle which helps to transport goods and people to nearby motor-able roads and trading centers.
We Provide Business franchises to Women, Youth, refugees and farmers to kick start business activities in off grid communities to create base for steady income mainly through solar Salon and Freezer business under co ownership of 50% for us and repay us in six (6) months.
Empower, rebuild and restore hope in vulnerable communities by providing pay go solar home systems, PICOs accessed at the SCONSO grid Franchise through our Solar Vending/Kiosks/stall (AGENT) whose stock cost is 50% owned by us and another 50% by the Agent and is replenished Monthly, we also provide back end credit /pay go for customers (Normally finance is payable in six (6) months to twelve (12) months).
